The Kremlin has reacted furiously to claims made by Boris Johnson that Putin threatened to kill him with a missile in a phone call prior to his invasion of Ukraine.
The former Prime Minister alleged that Putin told him “I don’t want to hurt you, but with a missile, it would only take a minute”.
However, the Kremlin’s spokesman accused Mr Johnson of lying, telling reporters what he said was not true.
