King Charles's Christmas guestlist from staff shakeup to Princess Anne's ex


One big change for King Charles’s second year as monarch, is an overhaul of the Sandringham guest list. The King has been revamping the guestlist for Sandringham’s Christmas celebrations, with rumours flying of even Prince Harry and Meghan Markle being potential invitees.

Notable additions include Queen Camilla’s children, Laura Lopes and Tom Parker Bowles, and their children, marking their first Christmas at Sandringham.

This will have been welcome news for Camilla, who in previous years would have to make the decision of staying at the estate or spending time with her side of the family.

But the news hasn’t gone down well with household staff, who have been told to give up their rooms in order to accommodate the additional guests.

This Christmas will mark the second since the death of Queen Elizabeth II, which created a somber tone at last year’s festivities, as the first Christmas the family spent without the Queen.

This year is expected to be a lot more joyous, with extended family getting to join in on the action.

Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew have also been rumoured to receive an invite – with the two billed to stay at nearby Wood Farm Cottage.

Queen Camilla has two children from her previous marriage with Andrew Parker Bowles, who previously dated Charles’s sister Princess Anne.

Tom Parker Bowles, 48, is the eldest born, and has made a career for himself as a food critic and writer l, with his works making him established media platforms including the Daily Mail and GQ. Tom is a well known figure both in the media and the capitals high society social scene.

Tom was married to Sara Buys from 2005 to 2018, and the couple had two children together – Freddy Parker Bowles and Lola Parker Bowles.

Laura Lopes, 45, is the youngest of Camilla and Andrew‘s children, and keeps a much lower profile than her brother, having attended Oxford Brooks University, studying History of Art and Marketing.

Laura married former Calvin Klein model-turned-chartered accountant in 2006, in a ceremony that included Prince William and Prince Harry on the guestlist. The couple have theee children together – daughter Eliza, and twin sons Gus and Louis.

Queen Camilla still maintains a strong relationship with her former husband Andrew, who is reportedly dating former Weakest Link host Anne Robinson, according to The Sun.

King Charles is stepfather and godfather to Tom Parker Bowles, and Camilla’s children have featured in many royal events, with the King photographed lifting up Camilla’s grandchild Eliza during the wedding of Prince William and Princess Kate in 2011, to see the crowds gathered at The Mall.
