King Charles' surgery sparks fears it is 'first in a series of health problems'

Charles has been transparent about his health issues with Buckingham Palace putting out that he had an enlarged prostate and planned to have surgery. Again, today, the palace announced he was being admitted to hospital. A palace insider revealed Charles took time to visit Princess Kate, who is recovering at the same hospital post abdominal surgery.

Quinn talked about the King’s relationship with his daughter-in-law, saying, “A lot of people were touched by his visit with Kate.”

“And it definitely reflects something that was already well known – they do get on very well, largely because Charles, like his mother, sees Kate as uncomplaining and unlikely, ever to embarrass the family.

“Kate is in someways like a young Camilla and Charles senses that.”
