King Charles admitted that the “wonderful messages” he received following his cancer diagnosis “reduced him to tears”.
The monarch held his first in-person Privy Council and audience with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at Buckingham Palace since being diagnosed with cancer.
“I’ve had so many wonderful messages and cards, it has reduced me to tears most of the time,” the King told Mr Sunak.
