King Charles goes viral in unearthed 'Mission Impossible'-style clip climbing wall in suit

King Charles is known for taking walks and enjoying the scenery, but in 2012, he did his exercising indoors.

During a royal visit in Jersey, he made a visit to Grainville Secondary School, taking a tour of the gymnasium, where he found a rock climbing wall and gave it a go.

TikTok has shared the unearthed moment, which has amassed over 250,000 views and 17,000 likes.

The caption reads: “Parkour King!” and is set to the Mission Impossible theme song.

In the clip, Charles is dressed in a suit and tie, and a smart pair of shoes.

While he may not be outfitted in mountain climbing gear, he tackles the task with confidence, coming across as nimble.

He puts one foot up on a peg, and then the other, and then grips a peg with his left hand, followed by his right.

He then side steps, about three pegs, across the wall. He looks pretty secure in what he’s doing, and could probably go higher, if he had the time.

When he hops down, after completing the obstacle, Charles mimes wiping sweat off of his head, and giving out a “Whew.”

Charles has proven himself athletic, playing rugby and polo over the years. And, he was in the military, serving in both the Navy and Air Force.

He bases his fitness regime on the 5BX, which stands for “five basic exercises.”

It consists of five basic exercises that put all the major muscles to work — stretching, sit-ups, back extension, push-ups and running on the spot. A walk or run may be substituted for the final exercise.
