King Charles and Queen Camilla are tucking into an extravagent eight-course banquet in Nairobi tonight as they mark the first day of their state visit to Kenya.
The menu includes everything from soup to fish and also features a stunning dessert platter.
Pictures showed staff preparing for the banquet, with elaborately decorated tables and a host of tableware – including three different wine glasses and five sets of cutlery.
Camilla wore a striking a blue Anna Valentine tunic top with palazzo trousers, with a diamond elephant bracelet and a Van Cleef & Arpels necklace that belonged to her grandmother for the banquet while Charles wore a black suit with a grey tie.
The menu for the 350 guests at the banquet tonight features eight different courses, though the top table chose to make a slight tweak to the original menu – switching out beef for chicken.
