The King and Queen are likely to be among the Royal Family members attending on December 8.
Beverley Knight, Adam Lambert and the Abbey’s choir are among the guests due to perform at the event, broadcast on ITV1 on Christmas Eve.
The service itself will reflect Kate’s Shaping Us campaign, launched in January, which highlights the importance of early years development.
In addition, 12 community carol services will be hosted by lord lieutenants, backed by Kate and William’s Royal Foundation, across the UK.
