Kate and William caught in another PDA moment as pair embrace after his charity polo win

Each year the Prince takes part in the charity polo match, which they hoped would raise £1million for 11 different organisations that William and Kate support.

Wearing a baby blue midi-dress from royal favourite brand Beulah, Kate gazed on at her husband adoringly from the sidelines and drank a glass of champagne.

As William was on the winning team his wife was able to present him with his toy elephant-topped prize, giving him a kiss on the cheek and squeezing his arm affectionately as he did so.

Kate herself appeared to “ooze confidence” while taking centre stage at the event even though it was William actually playing, according to a body language expert.

Judi James exclusively told Express.co.uk: “Kate looked very much like a proud parent at school sports day, rather than a retiring polo wife.

“Her confident stride as she walked across the field with her chin up, hair billowing and a dimpled smile on her face.”

She added that the future Queen “stood in the very centre of the pose for the official snap” and this “made her very much the guest of honour, even though it was William who competed and won the toy elephant-topped prize”.

As she analysed Kate and William’s interactions together Ms James noted: “Kate used touch, close eye contact and face-watching to communicate with William, even breaking out into rather naughty-looking laughter at one point.”

She said of William: “[He] looked totally and almost blissfully happy with her rituals, even producing some complimentary body language as he posed behind her for the photo line-up or stood looking bashfully down at his award while she oozes confidence beside him.”

The couple have been notably being more affectionate with each other in public, having previously adhered to strict royal protocol to keep their visible romance behind closed doors.

At the King’s Service of Thanksgiving in Edinburgh on Wednesday Kate and William were seen chatting and giggling together.

In a rather cheeky moment the Princess was even seen patting her husband’s bum as they stood with King Charles and Queen Camilla in St Giles’ Cathedral.
