A Just Stop Oil (JSO) protester has been pictured sprawled over the bonnet of a car, as commuters raged at the eco-zealots’s slow marching along the busy roads of central London.
The man, who appeared to be elderly, was attempting to hold onto his placard, as a fellow JSO activist watched on while holding a poster that read: “Life or suffering?”.
This comes as the Metropolitan Police tweeted that six protesters were arrested on the Marylebone Road at 8:47am.
The force tweeted: “At 08.47hrs, officers arrested six protesters who remained in #MaryleboneRoad after conditions to move out of the road were imposed. The road is clear of protesters at the same time and traffic is moving.”
