Just Stop Oil’s latest protest has been mocked by Brits, with one asking the mob: “Don’t you have jobs?” The eco-zealots were joined by protesters from Extinction Rebellion, Fossil Free London and Scientists for Extinction Rebellion outside Parliament this morning (Monday, January 22).
The mob said they are marching against the Government’s new Offshore Petroleum Licensing Bill, which will be put to the House of Commons later today.
Videos posted to the group’s X page show around 30 activists holding up signs reading ‘no more oil and gas licences’.
They said: “As the UK wakes up to the aftermath of #StormIsha, supporters of Just Stop Oil, @XRebellionUK, @fossilfreeLDN and @ScientistsX have gathered outside Parliament.”
