England cricketers heading for Lords for the first test of the summer have have been delayed after their bus was caught in traffic as a result of a Just Stop Oil protest.
The environmental protesters tweeted footage apparently of the vehicle, with protesters marching slowly in front of it.
They commented: “And apparently that’s the@englandcricketteam bus.
“They might know a bit about a batting collapse, but the climate crisis is no one-day international – it’s our biggest test.”
A Just Stop Oil spokesman added: “No-one is safe from climate collapse, it will destroy everything we care about.
“All we will have left is ashes.
“Oil and gas has had a good innings, but it’s time to declare – Just Stop Oil.
