Jurgen Klopp to snub 'desperate' BBC as Liverpool boss decides on becoming a pundit

“But that I still take this decision shows you that I am convinced it is the one I have to take. It is that I am, how can I say it, running out of energy. I have no problem now, obviously, I knew it already for longer that I will have to announce it at one point, but I am absolutely fine now. I know that I cannot do the job again and again and again and again.”

Klopp has also been linked with a host of top managerial jobs but is expected to take a holiday and break from work rather than making TV appearances or return to the dugout. The current focus is on what is likely to be an extremely busy run-in with Liverpool.

After winning the Carabao Cup, Klopp’s Reds are still fighting on three more fronts as they continue their Europa League journey tonight against Sparta Praha while battling the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal for the Premier League title in addition to the FA Cup.
