Jurgen Klopp explains source of irritation during Liverpool's routine win over LASK

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has admitted he wasn’t overly impressed that his side didn’t “put the game to bed” against LASK earlier on after his side romped to a routine 4-0 win.

“Most important is we’re head of the group and that will not change so that is good,” Klopp said.

“A lot of good stuff and some things I did not like too much.

“I say it all the time, we still have to grow, we still have to develop and play good football but this game should have been put to bed before half-time.

“If you are on the front foot of a game and you’re in charge then kill it and we didn’t do that.

“So 2-0, 3-0 great and then we opened up the game a little bit and we give them chances, let Caoimhin make a few saves.

“Nice for Caoimhin but I don’t need anyways.”
