Tucker Carlson reportedly wants to share his version of his Fox News ousting with Joe Rogan – but it seems he may not get the chance.
For while the media world has been scrambling to land the first interview with the former Fox News host, Rogan has apparently shown no interest in having the celebrity join him on his hugely popular podcast.
According to a report, Carlson offered the Joe Rogan Experience host an exclusive interview detailing his April ousting, but the interest, it seems, is not reciprocal.
The Mail reports insiders saying that Carlson’s representatives reached out to Rogan’s producers in the belief his Spotify podcast would be perfect for him to reveal all about his Fox News drama.
But The Mail quotes a source as saying: “Joe will simply not respond. He’s shown no interest in having Tucker on.”

Rogan, who attracts an estimated 11 million listeners per episode, has previously said on air that he would love to chat with Carlson.
“I’d be interested in talking to him. I think the whole thing is very fascinating,” Rogan told bowhunter Cameron Hanes on a recent episode.
“He was one of the only guys who was going against the corporate narrative.”
The insider said: “Tucker wanted it to happen.
“His people reached out to Rogan’s team saying he wanted to come on, he was willing to reveal what went down at Fox, the firing, the aftermath, everything.
“They went through producers, his close colleagues, all the right people, and got absolutely no response.
“This has been going on for weeks and weeks. Even Rogan’s friends are starting to ask, what is he doing? Nobody can figure out why he wants nothing to do with it.”
Carlson was fired in late April just days after Fox announced a $787m settlement with Dominion Voting Systems, which had accused the network’s hosts of ‘giving life’ to a ‘manufactured storyline’ about voter fraud in the 2020 election.
The Mail says the case exposed awkward internal emails and texts, including messages in which the conservative firebrand said he ‘passionately’ hated Donald Trump and labeled one senior exec a c***.
Carlson is also at the center of a lawsuit lodged by former booking producer Abby Grossberg, who claims she was subjected to bullying, sexism and antisemitism while working on his nightly 8pm show.
Since Leaving Fox, Carlson has launched ‘Tucker on Twitter’, a series of straight-to-camera monologues filmed with the help of a handful of loyalists who quit their jobs at the cable channel to help him start a new venture.
The first episode attracted 115 million online views while a follow-up garnered around 55 million.
Following the launch, Fox sent Carlson a cease-and-desist letter for allegedly breaching his contract, which runs until early 2025.
Carlson has given one interview to the media since leaving Fox, albeit a brief one.
Rogan, recipient of a $200m distribution rights deal from Spotify, has had his own controversies and brushes with cancel culture, and in January 2020 he clashed with Neil Young after the rocker threatened to remove his music from the streaming giant in protest at Rogan’s views on Covid 19.
