Joe Biden almost trips up on Air Force One after taking new classes to avoid blunders

Joe Biden nearly fell down the steps of Air Force One again on Tuesday as he scrambled to join striking auto workers in Michigan.

According to CNN, President Biden delivered a rousing speech to the thousands of workers standing on the picket line.

This speech came in the face of Donald Trump’s blasting of the president’s visit, claiming that Biden had “no intention” of walking the picket line until he heard that Trump was delivering a speech.

As he descended the steps of Air Force One to greet an arrival party of union workers, President Biden had to cling to the railings briefly in what appeared to be an attempt to stop himself falling over.

“Folks, you’ve heard me say many times, Wall Street didn’t build this country, the middle class built this country, and unions built the middle class,” Biden said to workers on the picket line. “That’s a fact, so let’s keep going. You deserve what you’ve earned, and you’ve earned a hell of a lot more than you’re getting paid.”

Biden’s joining of the workers on the picket line marked the first time in history that a president has done such a thing.

And he made clear that he’s well in support of the workers – even if he occasionally struggles to stand upright.

“I think the UAW gave up an incredible amount back when the automobile industry was going under,” he said on Monday. “They gave everything, from their pensions on. And they saved the automobile industry. And I think that now that the industry is roaring back, they should participate in the benefit of that.

In recent weeks, Biden has come under fire for his extreme efforts to keep from falling over.

According to The Daily Mail, Biden has been doing everything from wearing sneakers to taking classes in an attempt to appear more spry.

Trump has frequently made reference to Biden as “sleepy Joe” due to his falling down and over.

But the UAW workers were quite inspired by today’s speech.
