Jamie Carragher has described Jurgen Klopp’s decision to leave Liverpool at the end of the season as a ‘body blow’. The German boss revealed on Friday that he is ‘running out of energy’ in the Anfield dugout and intends on parting ways with the club when the campaign concludes.
The former Reds defender wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: “This news was always going to be a body blow to the club whenever it came. I just thought it would be another few years away. What a manager, what a man, let’s go out with a bang Jurgen!”
