Jake Paul sent Mike Tyson warning by former opponent and he cannot avoid it

Jake Paul has been warned boxing legend Mike Tyson has “seen it all” ahead of their mega-fight this summer. Nate Diaz, who fought Paul previously in the boxing ring, has had his say on the huge event.

Former undisputed heavyweight world champion Tyson will come out of retirement to face Paul in Texas on July 20. Tyson has not fought professionally since retiring on his stool after five rounds against Kevin McBride in 2005. His last appearance in a ring saw him fight to a bore draw against Roy Jones Jr in their 2020 exhibition bout.

Paul has fought 10 times as a professional, winning nine of his fights while losing to reality TV star Tommy Fury last year. Paul has knocked out his last two opponents in the first round but has once again switched his attention to a money-spinning fight against a big name.

It has yet to be announced whether Paul’s fight with Tyson will be sanctioned as a professional bout, with Tyson claiming it will be an exhibition but Paul insisting they want it to be professional. Either way, the YouTuber has been told he can bring nothing Tyson hasn’t seen before.

UFC legend Nate Diaz, who lost to Paul on points last year, said: “Mike Tyson’s a GOAT man, so, I’m on Mike Tyson’s side, so we’ll see what happens. I think he’s seen it all.”

It was announced this week that Tyson vs Paul will be supported by the biggest fight in women’s boxing history as Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano clash for the second time. Taylor edged out her rival in New York in 2022 and the pair will meet again this summer.

Tyson hailed the addition of Taylor vs. Serrano to the undercard. He said: “Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano are two of the best boxers in the world.

“I know they can both put on an incredible show, and I’m thrilled to have them join this card. These remarkable athletes will undoubtedly elevate the event with their global appeal and fan bases. Adding one of the greatest fights in women’s boxing history to this unforgettable event is a true gift to fans. Saturday, July 20 can’t get here soon enough.”
