Israel's devastating airstrike on Hezbollah base in Syria as war with Hamas intensifies

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out strikes on Syria early Tuesday. 

In a statement, the IDF said it struck two Hezbollah sites belonging to the Syrian Army. It did not elaborate on where the targets were located, or whether Hezbollah were at the sites. 

The IDF said it “holds the Syrian regime accountable for all activities which take place within its territory and will not allow for any attempted actions which could lead to the entrenchment of Hezbollah on the Syrian front.”
