Troops were said to have discovered an underground weapons manufacturing plant in Gaza City.
The Israel Defence Forces claimed that evidence showed Hamas “studied under Iranian guidance how to operate and build precision components and strategic weapons”.
They shared a photo of a warhead from a cruise missile which was allegedly developed by Hamas.
