Hamas plotted a “second phase” operation as a part of the devastating October 7 attacks on Israeli military bases and Kibbutz which killed around 1,200 soldiers and civilians, according to ‘evidence’ found on the terrorists.
Evidence taken from the bodies of fallen Hamas fighters reportedly shows the group was planning to advance further into Israel and target more military sites and cities.
Hamas gunmen were found to have food and supplies as well as intelligence on where to capture more weapons suggesting the group planned a longer and further reaching attack.
In the event, Hamas penetrated as far as 15 miles into Israel from Gaza, reaching the town of Ofakim. The evidence now puts to a Hamas plan to push deeper and even reach as far as the Occupied West Bank.
