Iran's parliament chants 'death to Israel' after bloody Hamas invasion

Advisor Yahya Rahim Safavi told Iran’s state media: “We congratulate the Palestinian fighters.

“We will stand by the Palestinian fighters until the liberation of Palestine and Jerusalem.”

The US vowed to support Israel, with Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin saying the government will ensure the country “has what it needs to defend itself”.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the conflict a “war”, and vowed Hamas will “pay a price it has never known” for the attack.

The Qatari Foreign Ministry also spoke out and blamed Israel for the violence, saying: “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs holds Israel alone responsible for the current escalation due to this ongoing violations of the rights of the Palestinian people, the latest of which is the repeated raids on the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque under of the protection of Israeli police.”

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia also said it is “closely following the developments of the unprecedented situation”.

In a statement, it added: “The Kingdom recalls its repeated warnings of the dangers of the explosion of the situation as a result of the continued occupation, and deprivation of the Palestinian people of their legitimate rights, and the repetition of systematic provocations against its sanctities.”

It comes as Israel released video of Hamas militants being wiped out while attempting to aggressively cross the border by sea.

In the thermal camera clip, the Israeli Navy is seen firing explosive rounds at small boats moving at full-throttle.

The video shows multiple blasts on the craft as the vehicles are destroyed.

The Israeli Defence Force’s press office said the two crafts were carrying “dozens of terrorists trying to infiltrate Israel”.
