Inside Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s £11m private mansion with extortionate table

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle opted for a simpler abode as they moved away from the Royal Family in 2020, after formally stepping away from their roles as royals.

The Sussexes headed west to a £11 million mega-mansion in Montecito, California where they still live today.

Over the years the Hollywood couple have voiced their hopes of keeping their family life out of the public eye and have seemingly succeeded with the intensely private estate on an 18,000-square-foot property surrounded by trees and greenery.

According to Page Six, the lavish home features nine bedrooms and 16 bathrooms, all imbued with a combination of modern and Victorian architectural elements for the family of four.

Two years ago, the Duchess inadvertently shared a sneak peek at her home office in the property as she launched her 40×40 campaign, revealing a £1,300 pine wood table she used as a desk, ivory chairs and stacks of coffee table books.

It also featured a stone fireplace with metal doors emblazoned with majestic filigree and a number of bright green house plants of various sizes and species that get plenty of natural light through the tall windows and round-top French doors.

Fans have actually seen a handful of candid looks at the interior of the celebrity couples’ luxury abode in home videos and photos they shared during their Netflix documentary.

One such image saw the Suits actress cradling her newborn daughter Lilibet, now two, as she took a selfie in a mirror and revealed a black-and-white look at her nursery.

The room featured a seemingly woven oval crib, some fairytale characters drawn across the walls, including a little squirrel over the wooden doorframe, and an abundance of light spilling in from windows off-camera.

House plants have seemingly made their way into every room of the mansion, with even a little orchard decorating the nursery.

Outside of the home, the expansive property is surrounded by a pool, tennis court, tea house, rose garden, olive trees, guest house and a children’s cottage.

However, the megamansion was not the same home that provided a backdrop for their controversial bombshell docuseries Harry & Meghan in 2022.

Hello! Magazine reported that the couple opted to film the sit-down segments of the series at a different, but almost more lavish, estate just 11 minutes away from their home.

The dazzling property they filmed in was reportedly on the market at the time for $33 million and boasts a pool, spa, private gym and crystal chandeliers.
