A video has gone viral on TikTok racking up over 2 million views and showcases an abandoned mansion covered with overgrown weeds and shrubbery.
The page, titled ‘Abandoned.Scotland’, displays a mansion with the caption: “We couldn’t believe what we found left inside rotting away”.
From the outside, the mansion has boarded-up windows, and it is covered with moss, suggesting it has been abandoned for years.
The footage reveals “surprising” belongings left inside the old mansion, such as an old piano covered with cobwebs and missing keys.
The mansion is filled with thick dust covering the windows and doors, and there is rubble on the ground.
An old billiards table and antique furniture remain inside, gathering inches of dust, with paint peeling off the walls.
When the camera pans from room to room, there are even half-drunk bottles of beer on the tables.
The caption reads: “Every room was full, it was like the family just vanished. What makes a family disappear without taking a single thing?”
TikTok users have been quick to comment on the hidden findings.
User, Jaz, said: “Wow. What happens to all the things inside? I’m surprised people don’t loot these abandoned places. So interesting!”
Others questioned who the owners of the property were: “So sad. Do you have any of the history, family name at all?
