Insane moment Russian tank is blown up hurling soldier into the sky for over 10 seconds

This is the insane moment a Russian soldier is blown sky high after his tank is struck by a Ukrainian missile, landing several yards away from the wreckage shortly after.

The video, posted on Reddit channel UkraineWarVideoReport, shows the Russian vehicle caught in the crosshairs of an airborne craft, with the movements of person visible from the sky.

Seconds later there is a huge explosion as burning shrapnel from the tank is sent skyward as fire envelops the screen.

As the flames recede, the smoking, detached turret of the tank is seen rising up and spinning down to earth.

Around 10 seconds later, a figure is seen plummeting to the ground as black smoke billows into the sky.

Russia is yet to comment on the video nor has it been verified.

It’s not known where the strike took place, but it appears to have carried out by a drone on the Ukrainian battlefront.

It comes after President Volodymyr Zelensky pledged to build at least a million drones this year, as the unnamed vehicles play an increasingly pivotal role in the conflict.

Ukrainian drone strikes recently targeted critical energy infrastructure in Russia, as a massive fire reportedly broke out at Klintsy oil depot, in the Bryansk region.

Footage of a large plume dark smoke engulfing Klintsy has circulated Russian Telegram channels.

The Russian Ministry of Defence reported the drone was shot down which sparked the blaze.

Bryansk Oblast Governor Alexander Bogomaz said: “The unmanned aircraft was neutralised by electronic warfare assets of the Russian Ministry of Defence.

“During the destruction of the aerial target, there was an unintended release of ordnance in the area of the Klintsy oil depot.

“Early reports indicate that there are no casualties. Fires have been reported in the damaged reservoirs.”

Ukraine also carried out a long-range drone strike on an oil facility in St Petersburg, Russia, over 500 miles away from the border.

This is the first such strike on the northern city, which is about 621 miles (1,000 kilometres) from Ukraine, since Russia’s full-scale invasion began.

According to Russian media, three drones were launched towards the city, which is Vladimir Putin’s hometown.

Two of the drones were reportedly shot down in the Gulf of Finland while a third drone is said to have exploded between two fuel tanks.

Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence has been approached for comment.
