A woman has confessed to a clever trick she played on her ex-boyfriend to make him rethink their breakup, which she said revolved around a sign from the universe.
Gabby Colvin, now 20, revealed a prank she pulled when she was 17 years old, which had her boyfriend convinced that they were destined to be together.
She shared this revelation on her TikTok channel, @gabs.colvin.
Colvin told her followers that she gave her boyfriend what he thought was a “sign from the universe” that he should stop texting other girls because she’s the one for him.
In her video, she recounted the unconventional method she used to win back her ex-boyfriend after he had cheated on her and started dating another girl.

Her initial motive was simply to align their school schedules so they could meet up.
Their relationship had fallen apart after he messaged other girls, which led to their breakup.
But what her ex didn’t know at the time was that she still had access to his location through the Find My Friends feature on her iPhone.
She stitched her clip with a viral TikTok video about a girl who said: “Call me crazy if you want, but I’ve never liked store-bought pesto.” Gabby replied: “That’s f**king mental, but when I was 17, I had my first boyfriend and we used to have each other on Find My Friends.”
She went on: “I used to sit and watch his little blue dot pulse like it was the morning news.”
One night while he was at the house of another girl, she watched his car stop at the end of a road with a really high speed limit and tight bend.
Soon after, she realised that he crashed and waited a few minutes to call him and make sure he was alright.
“So, I call him and I go, ‘Um, This is going to sound really weird, but something reached out to me, and I feel like I had this sudden urge to call you and check that you’re okay’,” she explained.
He responded by saying that it was so weird and confirmed that he had just crashed his car, but hung up to sort out the insurance.
Later on Gabby said he returned groveling, confessed his mistakes, and begged to be with her. According to her, he even said: “I feel like it’s a sign from the universe that I was supposed to be with you.
As a result, the couple got back together and stayed together for three years. Users had mixed opinions, with one writing: “So, basically you’re the guy from YOU. Slay though.”
Others were concerned and asked: “Did you ever tell him?” In another TikTok video, she revealed that she never told him the reasons behind how they got back together. “It just never came up. We just went about life for actually three and a half years,” she said.
Her ex did end up seeing the first video and messaged her saying: “No way. You had me hook, line and sinker!” A TikTok user chimed in: “He took it so well lol,” while another wrote: “Now you have to get back together.”
