Humza Yousaf dealt hammer blow after court vindicates UK's decision to block hated SNP law

Humza Yousaf has been dealt another humiliating blow this afternoon, after Scotland’s highest civil court sided with the UK Government over its decision to block a flagship gender reform bill.

The UK Government blocked the woke Holyrood bill from becoming law last year, claiming it would breach UK-wide equality rules.

At the time, it was the first ever case of the UK Government blocking a bill from the Scottish Parliament from becoming law.

The SNP Government challenged the move in the Court of Session with its top law officer, Lord Advocate Dorothy Bain, arguing Scotland Secretary Alistair Jack did not have “reasonable grounds” to block the bill.

In a humiliating slap down this lunchtime, the Court of Session in Edinburgh sided with the UK Government, saying Rishi Sunak and his ministers had acted lawfully when blocking the reforms.
