Huge crowd outside BBC shouts 'shame on you' in fury at Hamas attack coverage

Demonstrators have gathered outside the BBC head office in London to protest the corporation’s refusal to brand Hamas as “terrorists” in coverage of the Israel-Gaza war.

The Israeli-flag-waving crowd chanted “Shame on you!” and held signs declaring: “BBC if the King can call Hamas terrorists so can you”.

BBC bosses have refused to change the corporation’s decision to not describe Hamas as “terrorists’ – arguing to do so would breach impartiality.

Israel came under attack from Hamas units in devasting incursions from Gaza last weekend that left 1,400 soldiers and civilians dead.
