Horror moment car ploughs into a crowd of revellers outside tenpin bowling alley


Shocking footage has shown the moment a car is driven at a group of pedestrians outside a bowling alley in west London, resulting in four being injured including one who required hospital treatment. Now police are appealing for witnesses after the driver failed to stop at the scene.

The clip, shared by the U1U2 Twitter account, shows a car driving at a group of men, one of whom is knocked to the floor, before it appears to drive off.

An accompanying comment says: “An erratic driver striked into pedestrians outside Tenpin Bowling Park Royal last night.”

A statement issued by the Metropolitan Police said an emergcny call was received shortly after midnight this morning following reports that a vehicle had collided with several at the Royale Leisure Park in Acton.

It continued: “Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service.

“Four pedestrians were injured.

“One man, aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening.

“Three other men were treated at the scene.

“The driver of the car failed to stop at the scene and enquiries are ongoing to locate them.”
