Horror as over 30 people suffer ‘carbon monoxide poisoning’ at an indoor karting centre

An investigation has been launched into a karting centre in Lincoln following 33 suspected carbon monoxide poisonings.

Police received a report that some people who attended Proport Indoor Karting (Gridline Racing) in Lincoln later visited hospital for treatment after feeling unwell.

Lincolnshire Police is working in partnership with other agencies, such as Lincolnshire County Council, to see if this is linked to the venue.

Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) says it is working with multiple agencies in the county to ensure that all necessary support requirements are in place for anyone who visited the karting centre on Tuesday, August 15.
