Horrifying moment two neighbours viciously beat man over parking spot

A brutal beating was caught on video after neighbours apparently got in an argument over a parking spot. Footage from Queens New York allegedly shows Arturo Cuevas, 30, and 27-year-old Daisy Barrera beating the 28-year-old victim with a baseball bat on Friday, according to police.

Cuevas and Barrera reportedly had an ongoing parking dispute with the man, allegedly attacking him in the street and leaving him in critical condition.

The two were seen repeatedly beating the man in broad daylight, he was also stabbed five times during the alleged attack.

Neighbours claimed that the fight was over an ongoing dispute about a parking space.

In the ten-second clip, the man can be seen lying in the street with blood on the ground beside him.

A man kicks him in the back before a woman hits him in the side of the head with a baseball bat.

“Oh my god! Stop!” someone can be heard yelling. There are multiple people in the street as the alleged attack occurred.

The victim rolls over onto his stomach, however the man stands over him, holding an object in the victim’s face. He strikes him again before the video cuts off.

According to police, the man was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Centre and was in critical but stable condition.

Cuevas and Barrera were arrested and have been charged with assault, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon.

The news comes amid rising crime in New York City. As of December last year major crime – including murder, rape, robbery, assault, burglary, and grand larceny – had increased by 23.5 percent.

Although major crimes overall were up in 2022, shootings and homicides were lower than during 2020 and 2021 at the height of the Covid 19 pandemic.
