Horrific moment Putin's missiles destroy high-rise tower sparking devastating fireball

Putin’s Russia has unleashed a rain of death as missiles strike multiple cities causing widespread damage. Attacks have been reported in Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, and Odesa. Video footage from one attack captured the moment one of the missiles destroyed part of a high-rise tower sparking a devasting fireball.

The missile strike happened in Kyiv where the projectile struck an apartment block resulting in a massive ball of flame rising from the top of the tower. The number of casualties from the attack is not yet known.

Subsequent footage of the attack shows a large debris field at the base of the tower with flames on the first few floors of the building and people standing all around as nearby shouts and screams are heard.

Following the attack Igor Susko said the explosion was part of the “biggest attack to date”. He claimed: ” Fascist Russia attacked Ukraine with Kinzhal ballistic missiles, S-300s, UAVs, X-22s & X-32s.

“18 Russian strategic bombers launched dozens of X-101/X-505. “We have never seen so many targets simultaneously on our monitor” – Ukrainian Air Force spokesman.”

Putin’s latest attack on the city comes just days after Ukraine struck Russia’s Black Sea fleet destroying one of its key warships and both sides try and make progress during the winter months.

In recent weeks, the conflict has slowed down as it did last winter as both sides plan their 2024 offensives. Despite this, there has been some movement on the frontline.

Earlier this month, Ukraine confirmed its forces had retreated from the town of Marinka in the eastern Donbas region, marking the country’s first major loss since May.

Ukraine’s top military commander General Valerii Zaluzhnyi confirmed the town was no longer in Ukrainian hands on Tuesday after other officials denied the reports.

General Zaluzhnyi said: “There is nothing controversial about the fact that Ukrainian soldier shave stepped back to the outskirts of the town of Marinka.” Russia’s claims that it captured the town on Christmas Day have now been substantiated by video evidence.

Although Russia has gained ground in Ukraine, they have also been taking casualties after they lost another warship in the Black Sea.

Footage from X shows a massive fireball rising from a Russian navy vessel known as the Novocherkask. The commander of Ukraine’s air force, Mykola Oleshchuk confirmed it was the vessel which had been sunk.

Writing on X, they said: “And the fleet in Russia is getting smaller and smaller. Thanks to the Air Force pilots and everyone involved in the filigree work!” Following the attack, trains were rerouted and traffic was blocked according to the Crimean administration appointed by Russia.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy added: “I am grateful to our Air Force for the impressive replenishment of the Russian underwater Black Sea fleet with another vessel. The occupiers will not have a single peaceful place in Ukraine.”

Following the attack on the Black Sea fleet, there were fears that Putin could order ‘revenge raids’ on Ukraine in retaliation for their air strike.

According to the Ukrainian partisan Atesh group, Putin is angry about the loss of the landing ship. They said: “The flywheel of repression is spinning up. It is reported that Putin is completely furious over the destruction of the…large landing ship.”
