Heart-stopping video shows three women walking away after an alleged carjacker jumps off an overpass in New York.
A clip from social media shows Ismael English, 20, fleeing after allegedly stabbing Lyft driver Yadav Kumar Dhungel, 36, in an attempted robbing.
Surveillance footage captures English sitting on the ledge near the overpass of the Manhattan Bridge, before he dangles off the ledge of the busy highway.
Just one of his hands is seen gripping onto the concrete barrier, before he then dropped 30-feet onto the pavement and landed near three unidentified women.
But as English was lying on the ground twisting and turning in pain, the trio of women appeared unfazed by the drama.
They momentarily stopped, stared at the injured man and then walked away and continued their day.
Officials said the incident began around 2.40 pm on July 11 on the southbound side of the FDR Drive approaching the Manhattan Bridge exit, where police were responding to a robbery.
They say English was a rideshare passenger in a black Tesla, when he tried to carjack the driver at full speed on the FDR drive.
When the driver refused, police claim English stabbed him three times. The car crashed into the Jersey barrier along the shoulder.
“The driver was chasing, being stabbed, chasing the guy who stabbed him,” witness Yuliya Birvrayer told Eyewitness News.
“And the guy who stabbed him, he jumped into another car and started to wrestle with another driver.
“So, him and scare him away a little bit and he just run on the highway and jumping down.”
English was also filmed running across FDR Drive attempting to carjack two other vehicles and diving headfirst through a rear window in one of the vehicles.
Cops have charged the man with attempted murder.
