Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will find Hollywood “unsympathetic” as the pair are “too woke” for LA, according to one royal expert. The Duke and Duchess live in Montecito, California about two hours North of Tinsel Town. Earlier this month, Meghan and Harry were photographed arriving at an exclusive Hollywood club after the couple drove to LA.
Royal expert Kinsey Schofield previously blasted Meghan and Harry for tipping off paparazzi before they arrived at Hollywood hotspot San Vincente. The club costs £3,400 ($4,200) a year for membership and is said to have a back entrance for A-listers.
Now Ms Schofield has branded Meghan and Harry “too woke” for left leaning Hollywood and claims LA has “no sympathy” for the couple.
She said: “I live in Los Angeles, California, they’ll drive four hours round trip to have their photos taken by paparazzi coming out of LA hotspots.
“The feeling in LA is mixed, they are confused by Harry and Meghan, there is no sympathy towards them. They think they’re too – a hate the word woke – but I think that they’re too woke. Even in Los Angeles.”
The couple are reportedly in negotiations with Buckingham Palace over what their role would be during the Coronation.
Sticking points are said to include the acknowledgement of the Sussexes’ son Prince Archie Harrison – his fourth birthday is May 6 – as well as Meghan and Harry appearing on the Buckingham Palace balcony with the other royals.
King Charles has said that the balcony would be reserved for working royals thus excluding Prince Andrew, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
