Holidaymakers warned about Birmingham airport rule that could see 'holidays lost'

Holidaymakers heading to Birmingham airport were left flabbergasted after finding out tough rules about what they can do during a flight.

Passengers were reportedly not allowed to have a “crafty vape” on board and warned they could be taken off the plane if caught, reported Birmingham Mail.

The warning comes as several holidaymakers were unaware of the rule and had to be reminded again.

The reminder came from the Birmingham Airport Police, which deemed it necessary to mention it again because some passengers had only just learned about the rule that day.

Police emphasised that vaping is prohibited before takeoff, a rule that seemed unexpected for some individuals.

They cautioned that there are significant repercussions for anyone caught violating this regulation.

In fact, such actions could lead to the holidaymakers losing their entire vacation.

Cops stressed that the safest approach to avoid trouble is to refrain from vaping altogether.

This clear directive aims to ensure that passengers adhere to the rules and avoid any potential negative consequences.

Following an incident over the weekend, Birmingham Airport Police posted on X: “Worth a mention as some passengers found out today.

“If you have a crafty vape as you board your flight, or even in the aircraft prior to the flight you will probably not be permitted to travel. You could lose your flight and holiday, all at your own cost.”
