Heavily pregnant Princess Eugenie steps out with husband Jack as baby 'due any day now'

The princess was pictured walking last Friday hand in hand with her husband, dressed in a blue floral smock and wearing sunglasses to shield her eyes from the warm weather.

In pictures from the Daily Mail Eugenie and Jack were snapped casually strolling with their arms around each other as they wandered into a shop along the sunny road.

Eugenie has not been seen in public since May 16 as she prepares for the arrival of her second child, who according to Granny Fergie will be making their appearance very soon.

Sarah told Hello!: “We don’t know what it is yet. But the baby is due by the end of May, I think. So it’s any minute now.”

In January this year Eugenie announced her pregnancy with a charming Instagram post showing little August kissing her baby bump while on a walk in the countryside.

She captioned the picture: “We’re so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer”, with her mother Fergie commenting underneath: “Granny heaven.”

When the new baby arrives he or she will be 13th in line to the throne, just behind big brother August who is 12th and Eugenie herself who is 11th.

In spite of being relatively high up in the line of succesion Princess Eugenie is not a working member of the Royal Family.

Eugenie gave birth to August at the Portland Hospital in London, with Buckingham Palace issuing a statement at the time to announce the happy arrival.

It said: “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie was safely delivered of a son today, 9th February 2021, at 0855hrs at The Portland Hospital. Jack Brooksbank was present.

“The baby weighs 8lbs 1oz. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Duke of York, Sarah, Duchess of York, and Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank have been informed and are delighted with the news.

“This is Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s first child, The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York’s first grandchild, and the ninth great-grandchild for The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”
