Body language expert Darren Stanton told HELLO! that the way Prince Harry held onto his young daughter is telling of his approach to parenthood.
He said: “You can tell how caring he is as a father, and how seriously he takes parenting.
“From the way he is holding her, I can tell he has a lot of joy in that moment while being protective of her.”
The expert continued: “It’s clear he is at his happiest when with his children and Meghan. He and Meghan show they are very tactile with their children and always have been.”
Stanton added: “Harry’s body language suggests he is very much a hands-on father, and it’s important to him to be that way with his children. He doesn’t hold back from that.”
Prince Harry has a second child with wife Meghan, four-year-old son Archie.
Although not pictured during the sweet moment, Meghan and Archie are understood to have joined in the celebrations later on.
The family-of-four, who reside in California, were captured in a sweet video waving during the Fourth of July parade.
Whilst he enjoyed celebrations in the US, King Charles celebrated his Scottish coronation with a service in Edinburgh.
