'Harry finally dealt with Diana's death by taking hallucinogenic drug ayahuasca'


Prince Harry has revealed how psychedelic drugs were like “medicine” in dealing with his grief and trauma following the death of his late mother, Princess Diana, in 1997.

In a few interview used to publicise his memoir Spare, which was released last week, Harry revealed that he had taken cocaine, cannabis and the hallucinogenic drugs, Ayahuasca and magic mushrooms. All of which are illegal in the UK.

It has been reported that the 38-year-old is not the only person to have used substances to help ease their mental health struggles.

In recent years, with the increaing awareness of mental health issues across the world, the wellness industry has been advertising psychedelic retreats, which offer a range of therapies in countries where the substances are legal.
