On Monday evening, celebrity Sharon Osbourne, a regular guest on the show, spoke to Piers Morgan about the impact of Prince Harry’s recent interviews and how they may impact his visit to the UK to attend King Charles’ coronation. The coronation will take place on May 6 2023, where both the monarch and his wife, Queen Consort Camilla, will be crowned.
Ms Osbourne said she believes that Prince Harry will be booed if he comes to King Charles’ coronation.
She said: “You know what, honestly, if he comes to this country in the next few months, I think he will be booed, I honestly do.”
Morgan claimed Prince Harry and Meghan “were booed last time” they were in the UK, to which Sharon says they were “a little bit”.
In early September, days before Queen Elizabeth’s death, both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were in Manchester to attend the One Young World summit to support youth leaders.
The media at the time reported that despite the overall warm reception the couple received some people booed the royal couple as they arrived at the scene, and one onlooker told the Daily Mail at the time that “there was no doubt they would have heard” the noise as they entered the summit building.
In his evening news show, Morgan criticised Harry’s recent interviews that were aired this weekend, in which he spoke about his relationship with the Royal Family.
Morgan said Prince Harry had constantly sniped at his father King Charles in his new memoir as well as “absoltely trashed” his stepmother, Queen Consort Camilla.
He criticised Prince Harry’s “brass neck standards” if he were to attend the coronation.
He said: “[Prince Harry] won’t give a clear ‘no I’m not going to go’, and the palace hasn’t said he won’t be invited.
“I can’t imagine in what world these two, Meghan and Harry, think they’re going to waltz in to Westminister Abby…to watch a coronation of two people they just trashed in a book!”

Prince Harry’s series of interviews has been to promote his new memoir, ‘Spare’ which officially releases on January 10.
However, extracts of the book have been leaked to the media as well as revealed in the Duke’s recent interviews.
The Megabit memoir comes after some politicians have said both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle should not attend King Charles’s coronation.
Iain Duncan Smith, the former Conservative leader, has asked why the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would wish to attend the coronation “if they dislike the Royal Family so much”.
David Mellor, a former Cabinet minister, said the royal couple “make money out of selling their family down the river”.
He added: “I think it should be made clear that the British people do not want them there.”
Mellor also claimed that people in the UK “would be perfectly entitled to boo if the couple did turn up”.
