Harry and Meghan 'struggling' with Royal split, says Duchess' 'guru' Deepak Chopra

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reported to be “struggling” following their recent clashes with the Royal Family.

The California-based couple made headlines again earlier this week when Harry informed King Charles he will attend his Coronation next month alone while Meghan remains in the US with their two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

The pair’s spiritual ‘guru’ Deepak Chopra told the Daily Mail that they are “struggling right now” with the fallout from their much-publicised rift with Buckingham Palace.

Chopra, who appeared on the couple’s first podcast for Spotify, is an Indian-American alternative medicine practitioner and member of Meghan’s ‘inner circle’.

The 76-year-old, who has 2.8 million followers on Instagram, said at a red-carpet event in Central London: “I enjoyed the podcast and interacted with them.

“It (Chopra’s work with the duo) has been periodic – they’re struggling right now.

“I hope they get through it light-hearted.

“I think there’s too much drama around them – people should mind their own business.”

The best-selling author, who has penned more than 90 books, has counselled the couple to avoid speaking about their rift with the Royal Family in public to circumvent further controversy.

“My advice is to ignore it because if you react you’ll just aggravate the situation,” Chopra said.

“If you ignore it, people can’t say anything, then they’ll stop.”

Other infamous supporters of Chopra include chat show host Oprah Winfrey and actress Gwyneth Paltrow, and he is also renowned for his advice on meditation and yoga.

“I spend two hours every morning doing yoga and meditation and then again before I sleep,” he said.

“I don’t take myself too seriously, nor does my wife or kids.”
