Piers Morgan’s wife Celia Walden accused Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of “violating” the Hollywood A-Lister code.
According to the author, not a month has gone by without the pair getting a “cold-shouldering” following their bombshell revelations over the years.
Celia believes the reported fallouts could be down to the Hollywood elite’s fear of failure.
She began by addressing claims that the pair are now said to be at loggerheads with the Beckhams over alleged leaked stories.
Celia likened their alleged new feud to ‘Wagatha Christie’ – in which Coleen Rooney accused Rebekah Vardy of leaking stories about her.
She also cited that others who are said to have been keeping a distance from the couple are; Steven Spielberg, Katy Perry, Rob Lowe and the Clooneys.
Addressing the so-called Hollywood ‘freeze-out’ of the couple, she went on to say: “I would ask, ‘where did it all go wrong?’, but I’m not mad-keen on rhetoricals.
“When it comes to fads, fashion and friendships, Hollywood’s elite are nothing if not bovine, and there are two things they fear and flee from, above all else – and as someone who has lived in Los Angeles for many years, I have seen this first-hand.”
Indiscretion and failure, she added, are what Hollywood stars fear the most.
Elaborating, she referenced Harry’s memoir Spare as one which may not have gone down too well with some mentioned in the book.
Giving an example, Celia said the Prince claimed he saw “mushroom chocolates” in Friends star Courteney Cox’s fridge.
“You can see why a couple prone to detailing the contents of their ‘famous friends’ may not be top of many celebrities’ friendship lists,” she added.
Top TV producer Paula Froelich spoke more about the situation to Daily Express US this week.
She claimed The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are being “frozen out” by even the likes of Oprah Winfrey who was once close to Meghan.
According to her, the television host didn’t invite them to her birthday party this year, despite her bombshell interview with the pair in March 2021.
She added: “My sources tell me it’s all about the money – and the big power players in Hollywood aren’t jeopardizing their businesses for Harry and Meghan.”
