Harry and Meghan 'astonished' as Beatrice and Eugenie hang out with Piers Morgan

The Sussexes are reportedly “astonished” that Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have “gone behind their backs” and started hanging out with TalkTV host Piers Morgan.

Beatrice and Eugenie were spotted with Morgan on a night out at The Princess Royal pub in Notting Hill, West London, with other big celebrity names.

The royals were reportedly giggling and joking around with Piers Morgan as they left the building.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to be shellshocked that Harry’s cousins have “gone behind their backs” by hanging out with the former Good Morning Britain host, who launches regular attacks on the Sussexes live on air.

A source told OK! Magazine: “After everything Piers has said about them as a couple – especially Meghan, who he’s called so many names – Harry and Meghan are astonished that they’ve gone behind their backs.

They added: “It will be interesting to see how Harry interacts with his cousins during the coronation.”

But Beatrice, 34, and Eugenie, 33, allegedly believe they have not done anything which has crossed a line.

The pair are not as close to the Sussexes as they once were after Harry and Meghan stepped back from their royal duties and jetted across the Atlantic to settle down in the US.

Meanwhile, the series of bombshell secrets the couple has been dropping about the royals, such as in Harry’s tell-all memoir Spare, are likely to have soured things amid the bitter Royal Family fallout.

Now, Beatrice and Eugenie are even eager to secure a slot on Morgan’s TalkTV show, the source claimed.

They have even allegedly asked King Charles for permission to appear on the programme.

Another source told OK!: “It won’t be a Harry and Meghan-style interview, because they have requested permission from the King and the interview will portray the family in a very positive light.

“Eugenie and Beatrice are keen to put their side across and talk about their new lives.”

This comes as Harry prepares for a trip across the pond for his father’s historic Coronation on May 6. It could be a tense atmosphere in Westminster Abbey if he really is shocked by his cousin’s actions.

Harry previously had a close bond with his cousins, particularly with Princess Eugenie.

Royal biographers Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand wrote in their book, Finding Freedom: Harry And Meghan And The Making Of A Modern Royal Family: “Eugenie had always been more than just a cousin to Harry.

“They were also the closest of friends. Out of all the Queen’s grandchildren, Harry and Eugenie have one of the most natural connections. Like Harry, Eugenie is loyal, honest and great fun. The two had many nights out together in London.”

Eugenie is also one of the only royals to have been featured in Harry and his wife Meghan Markle’s Netflix docuseries after making a trip to Montecito home in California.

She is pregnant with her second child and announced the news on her personal Instagram account, sharing a photo of her young son August kissing her bump.
