At least one person has died after a fuel tanker truck rolled over and burst into flames on a bridge, with the fire now spreading to nearby buildings.
The vehicle was travelling along Route 95, passing over the Gold Star Bridge, in Groton, Connecticut, when it went up in flames.
Footage from the scene shows huge plumes of black smoke billowing out from the remnants of the truck.
Injuries are unknown at this time, but the New London Mayor Micael Passero confirmed that one person was killed. Connecticut State Police are warning people to avoid the area.
