Full list of schools closed or affected by dangerous concrete scandal

The Government has told more than 100 educational sites to shut or partially close due to the crumbling concrete crisis just as many children should be starting a new school or lessons for the first time.

Express.co.uk has found multiple schools across the country that have been told to turn away kids or operate at lower capacity, with limited information on how long the debacle will last.

Labour shadow education secretary Bridget Phillipson said “ministers need to get a grip” and that the Department of Education was in “complete chaos”.

Chancellor Jeremy Hunt moved to reassure parents the Government would “spend what it takes” to address the problem, but Treasury sources later said money for repairs would come from the Department for Education’s (DfE) existing capital budget.

Education Minister Gillian Keegan is coming under mounting pressure to publish a list of all the schools suffering from full or partial closures, but we can already bring you a list of sites that are known to have been affected to far.
