Frustrated Man Utd star will be even more upset after fresh Old Trafford development

After returning to fitness, Mount has been forced to settle for a bit-part role and five of his last six appearances have come as a substitute. He has been forced to play in unfamiliar positions as a deeper central midfielder and only the right wing while Antony was out of the team.

Despite his obvious disappointment with how his United move has worked out so far, it is understood the England international doesn’t miss life at Chelsea and is determined to succeed with the Red Devils. The report also says Mount is loving playing in front of big crowds and people close to the player say he is not missing Chelsea as much as they thought he would.

He does also not feel weighted down by the expectation that comes with the No 7 shirt, which was previously worn by United icons Cristiano Ronaldo and Eric Cantona. But his body language has suggested otherwise, with Mount often bereft of confidence when he steps out in a United shirt.
