Footage leaves red-faced Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold with explaining to do

Viral footage has shown the concerning role that Trent Alexander-Arnold played in Everton’s second goal against Liverpool on Wednesday. The Reds now have little hope of winning the Premier League title in Jurgen Klopp’s final season after a 2-0 defeat at Goodison Park.

Alexander-Arnold was among the Liverpool stars who underperformed in the shock reverse, which was Everton’s first Goodison Park victory over Liverpool in over 13 years. Jarrad Branthwaite and Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored the goals for an Everton side who are now all but safe from relegation.

And it was Calvert-Lewin’s second-half header that has fans questioning Alexander-Arnold’s defensive work. The striker leapt highest at a corner to head home Everton’s second goal.
