Mercedes are offering Max Verstappen a long-term deal in a bid to prise him away from Red Bull, according to F1-insider.
It is said that a ‘lucrative advertising ambassador contract’ is on the table, which Verstappen would find ‘hard to refuse’.
The report also claims that ‘over 90 per cent’ of Mercedes employees would like Verstappen to join when Lewis Hamilton leaves at the end of the season.
