F1 LIVE: Christian Horner told Sergio Perez replacement as fan-favourite race may return

F1 could be set for a sensational return to the Buddh International Circuit with The Times of India revealing that the sport is in talks for a return to South Asia.

This news comes off the back of MotoGP’s maiden trip to the circuit with the world’s premier motorbike racing series set to race at Buddh until 2029.

According to the report, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority has revealed that talks are planned to go ahead with the aim of bringing India back onto the F1 calendar in 2025.

F1 first made its way to India back in 2011 with the track relatively popular among fans and drivers, but political issues meant that the event only ran for three years with the partnership ending early in 2013.
