'F****** English!' Fury as British tourists destroy sacred Spanish nativity scene

Two British tourists have sparked fury after they destroyed a sacred nativity scene in Spain. The pair climbed over a statue of the Virgin Mary and Baby Jesus in the centre of Jerez de la Frontera, in Cadiz.

Spanish locals have been left outraged by the incident, with the men being branded “puto ingleses” – which translates to “f***ing English” – as they screamed at them to “get out”.

An investigation has been launched into the circumstances surrounding the alleged vandalism, with city council officials confirming that the model of the Baby Jesus was ruined and now needs replacing.

Video footage of the incident shows three locals rushing over to the display calling on the tourists to move away.

One of the Britons then claims “I’m Christian, I’m Christian” while mocking a praying gesture.
