Eurostar chaos as train journeys cancelled after flooding sparks standstill on tracks


Eurostar and Southeastern trains have been cancelled because of flooding in a tunnel near Ebbsfleet International station in Kent.

Southeastern Railway said no services will run between Ebbsfleet and London St Pancras International until around noon.

Eurostar, which uses the same line, cancelled the first three services of the day to and from St Pancras. There has been cancellation of at least ten services on the line, which would have ferried 8000 passengers, according to the BBC.
