Emmanuel Macron 'to welcome King Charles III on first official overseas visit to Paris'


It has been reported that French diplomats are busy preparing for the state visit of the eldest son of the late Queen Elizabeth II. At the time of the late monarch’s funeral, an invitation had been launched by Emmanuel Macron. In September, the President of France said: “I had the opportunity to invite King Charles to come to France when it is appropriate for him”.

The state visit, which will claimed to take place at the end of March, will include a state dinner is planned at the Élysée Palace.

As well as the King, a program is also in preparation between Camilla, the Queen Consort and the first lady Brigitte Macron.
